The commissioning process is a rewarding collaboration between client and maker, resulting in a bespoke piece of jewellery or metalwork completely unique to you.

I aim to make the commissioning process as smooth and rewarding as possible, beginning with a consultation where we discuss your ideas and requirements. From there, the concept is developed into something tangible through sketches, maquettes, and samples to bring the design to life.

Recycling Your Silver & Gold

Hannah welcomes the opportunity to rework your unused or unworn silver and gold, reworking it into a beautiful new piece of jewellery or silverware.

Personalisation & Finishing

Hannah is pleased to offer personalisation and finishing services for both available and commissioned pieces, working with trusted engravers, polishers, and platers. Any outsourced services, along with additional postage, will be added to the final cost of your purchase.

Repairs & Trade Work

Hannah welcomes any silver or gold repair or trade work you may have which falls into her area of expertise.

Sustainability is a key factor within Hannah's practice, which she aims to adhere to as diligently as possible.

As Hannah draws creative inspiration from a number of organic sources, she ensures her processes are carefully considered to minimise environmental impact and to avoid contributing to environmental pollution wherever possible.

Legalities

Hannah is legally required to hallmark every piece she creates in precious metals. She is registered with the Edinburgh Assay Office, where each item of silver or gold is stamped with five compulsory hallmarks. Additional hallmarks can be applied upon request.

Hannah is fully insured for 2026 through the Artist’s Network with Public & Products Liability and Professional Indemnity.

Returns

If you are unhappy with your order, you may return the item within 10 working days of receiving it. After this period, returns cannot be accepted. Please note that initial postage costs are non-refundable. To qualify for a return, items must be in the same condition as when received.

Please note that commissioned or personalised pieces are non-returnable.
